Why AnswerVault exists.
AnswerVault was born watching founders lose a week to every enterprise security questionnaire. The buyer's side of the table has Vanta, Drata, SafeBase — the seller's side has a Google Doc and a deadline.
We built the tool the selling side was missing: upload your policies once, get draft answers quoted from those policies with citations to the exact policy section, and approve every answer before it goes out. No Vanta required.
Our design rule is honesty by construction. Drafts are labeled drafts. Low-confidence answers are flagged, not filled in. Export is physically impossible until a human reviews everything. We'd rather slow you down than let an invented answer reach your buyer.
What we won't do
- Draft answers are generated from the customer's own uploaded policies — low-confidence questions are flagged for manual drafting, never invented.
- We never claim answers are accurate without review; the approval step is mandatory and enforced by the API.
- AnswerVault is a responder accelerator, not a compliance platform — no evidence collection, no auditor workflow.
